Abdul Samad sweats it out in Jammu

JAMMU, June 23: J&K’s ace player Abdul Samad who has been playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad for the last two years in the cash rich Indian Premier League (IPL) today sweated it out at his hometown ground of GGM Science College, here today.
He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm leg-break bowler. Samad was the third cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir who has been selected for the IPL after Parvez Rasool and Rasikh Salam.
While talking with Excelsior after practice at GGM Science College Ground, Samad praised Umran Malik’s selection in the Indian squad and wished him best of luck for his upcoming matches.
He also asked the youngsters to work hard like Umran Malik to make the place in cash rich franchise’s teams as well as for India because hard work is the key to success and without it nobody can make their dream.
It is pertinent to mention here that Abdul Samad made his T20 debut with J&K in the year of 2019 and had also played in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy for his home State. He was signed by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the year of 2020 and made his IPL debut in the same year against the Delhi Capitals.
