KATRA, June 25: In a tough fight which lasted for 30 minutes wrestler Abdul Ghani of Maler Kotla clinched the Bambyal Kesari title which was held at Bambyal, defeating Pardeep of Patiala.
The Dangal, in which more than 45 bouts were played was organized by Bambyal Dangal Committee under the overall supervision of its Chairman Ram Singh, Vice Chairman Choudhary Bashir Ahmed and Secretary, Choudhary Manzoor Ahmed.
Winner and runners-up wrestlers were awarded with a cash prize of  Rs 31, 000 and  Rs 20, 000 respectively by  the chief guest, Rakesh Wazir, State general secretary Bahujan Samaj Party in presence of Sr PDP leader, Showkat Choudhary.
Bambyal Dangal Committee members and Technical officials who helped for conduct of the event were Ram Singh, Choudhary Manzoor Hussain, Basheer Ahmed, Dr Jitender Sharma, Patwari Krishan Lal, Kartar Chand, Karamat Ali, Habeeb Hussain, Ghulam Nabi, Master Pawan and Lamberdar Sher Singh.
