Aarav slams ton as KCCC Reds beats Greens by 62 runs

JAMMU, Oct 24: Promising youngster Aarav Mahajan scored a cracking century as KCCC Reds defeated KCCC Greens by a big margin of 62 runs in a friendly cricket match, organized by Kishan Chand Cricket Club at Country Cricket Stadium Gharota, here today.
Batting first, KCCC Reds rode on a brilliant century by Aarav Mahajan to set a huge target of 283 runs for the rivals. Aarav Mahajan top scored with 111 runs, while Dhruv and Reshiv contributed 77 and 31 runs respectively. From KCCC Greens, Sahil took 2 wickets, while Imran, Sourav and Vasu claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, KCCC Greens managed to score 220 runs in the allotted overs, thus lost the match by 62 runs. Vansh scored 43 runs, while Daman and Vasu contributed 34 and 27 runs to the total respectively. For KCCC Reds, Manik took 2 wickets, while Tanish, Divesh and Aman claimed 1 wicket each.
The match was inaugurated by Ankush Abrol, former member BCCI and working committee member JKCA, in the presence of organiser Sunil Kumar, coach and Sheshu Pal.
