Aapsi Bhaichara Cricket Tourney begins

KATHUA, June 20: Aapsi Bhaichara–A Cricket Tournament dedicated to the promotion of communal harmony started today at Lakhanpur.
Chief Executive Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority Dr Bharat Bhushan declared the tournament open in presence of Master Shiv Nandan, Social Activist and retired District Youth Services and Sports Officer, who is the organiser of the event for the past 13 years. Cricket teams from Mehtabpur and Jagatpur villages of Lakhanpur are participating in the tournament.
Responding to the demands of players and organizers for the construction of approach path and further development of ground, Dr Bharat Bhushan assured to take up the matter with the District Development Commissioner, Kathua.
