SAMBA, Oct 14: District Police Samba organized a Debate competition on “Role of Police in National Security: Remembrance of Police Martyrs” at District Police Lines, here today.
20 students from different Private / Govt. Schools participated in the event.
Aall the students, teachers along with DySP DAR, Vipan Chandran visited the Martyrs Gallery at DPL Samba and paid floral tributes to the Martyrs.
In the debate competition, Danish Attri, a student of 6th Class of BBN High School, Vijaypur secured 1st position whereas Ankita Pangotra, student of 5th class of Sunlight High School Utterbehni secured 2nd position and Bharti Sharma, student of 11th Class of Kushan Public Higher Secondary School Samba claimed 3rd position.
The students who secured 1st, 2nd & 3rd position were awarded with trophies & certificates.
SSP Samba, Shakti K. Pathak who was the chief guest on the occasion lauded the efforts of organisers for holding the event.
The programme was attended by the teachers/faculty members/Chief Prosecuting Officer/ DySP DAR Samba/Dy SP Hqrs Samba/SDPOs Vijaypur/ Bari Brahmana /Students of the Govt/Private Schools of Samba Town.
