JU wins silver in foil boys’ team event

JAMMU, Feb 5: The fencers of Jammu University bagged silver medal in the foil boys team event in the ongoing All India Inter-University Fencing Championship, being held at Punjabi University Patiala in Punjab.
The gold medal was bagged by Punjabi University Patiala in this event, while the bronze medal went to Osmania University, Andhra Pradesh.
The four-member J&K team included from PG, University of Jammu, Mohd Tariq from MAM College Jammu, Dushyant Magotra from MIET College Jammu and Satish Kumar from MAM College Jammu.
The team is being accompanied by Ajay Khartol and Varun Slathia as coach as manager respectively.
