SKCC trounces Game Changer X1 to win series

JAMMU, Jan 28: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) thrashed Game Changer Cricket Club X1 by 27 runs to win the ongoing T-20 series by 3-0.
The slogan of the series was ‘Say Yes To Future No To Drugs’, played at R S Pura Cricket Ground, here.
The series was organized by Avinash Uttam, skipper Game Changer Cricket Club XI.
After winning toss, SKCC chose to bat first and set a target of 157 runs in stipulated 20 overs.
Pankaj Khajuria scored highest 51 runs off 40 balls, while Manu scored 45 runs of 32 balls and Sumit Verma also chipped in with 27 runs of 22 balls.
For Game Changer Cricket Club XI, Rinku Vikrant took four wickets, while KK also claimed one wicket.
Chasing target, Game Changer Cricket Club XI bundled out for 129 runs and lost the match.
Kaka scored highest 23 runs, while Sarvesh contributed 21.
From SKCC, Anmol Manhas and Anil Langeh shared 2 wickets each. Shahrukh Mir, Manu and Navdeep also took 1 wicket each. Manu was declared as man of the match for his all round performance in the match and Pankaj Khajuria was declared as man of the series.
Senior National Conference leader Naresh Bittu was the chief guest on the occasion.
The guests distributed trophies among the winners and runner-up teams.
