JAMMU, Dec 18: Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2 Udhampur celebrated Annual Sports Day with pomp and show in the school premises, here today.
Brig Sandeep Choudhary, VSM, Chairman VMC was the chief guest on the occasion, who late-on distributed prizes among the winners of various sporting events.
Earlier, Principal Amit Walter presented welcome address, which was followed by a welcome song presented in honour of the chief guest.
The medal winners in Taekwondo and Judo National Games namely Shruti Rana, Nikhil Kumar and Ravi Kumar were felicitated on the occasion. The trio bagged medals in the Sports Meet also.
The sports and allied events included Ball Relay, Spoon and lemon Race.
The highlight of the cultural events was ‘bhangra’ which enthralled the audience.
Gaurav Sanotra, Physical Education Teacher of the School presented vote of thanks.
