Vishwakarma Sabha honours meritorious students

JAMMU, Sept 16: On the eve of Vishwakarma Jayanti, Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha (PVS), Jammu, felicitated and honoured meritorious students of Vishwakarma Community in a function held at Sabha’s Head office, Bakshi Nagar, here.
The function was organised under the chairmanship of District and Sessions Judge (Retd), Harbans Lal.
All meritorious students of the Community belonging to class 10th, 12th, graduation, PG, Engineering and Medical, were honoured by presenting Saropa, a memento and an appreciation letter.
The students who were honoured includes Damini Kataria, Sunakshi, Dheeraj Kumar, Kushant Pandotra, Rakhi Verma, Nidhi Dalmotra, Sonali Dhiman, Elika Verma, Kunal Angotra, Rashmi Virdhi, D Sahiba Verma, Mukal Verma, Ankita Verma, Chand Kataria, Shubam Verma, Shagun Verma, Nancy Salgotra, Shilpi Salgotra, Shefali Gandhi, Varsha, Diksha Verma, Anoop Dhiman, Isha Verma, Sushil Verma and Komal Verma.
Earlier in his welcome address, Ex-president PVS, RL Chargotra, congratulated the participating students and their parents on the eve of Vishwakarma Jayanti.
The chief guest appreciated the role of such functions saying these functions bridges the gap between young and the old. He also lauded the role of team of organizers, which was headed by Dharmpal Kataria.
Prominent among others, who graced the occasion were Ram Lal, Vijay Kumar, RC Angotra, Raj Kumar Choudhary, Jagdish Raj, Sashi Verma, Rajender Kumar, Darshan Singh, Joginder Angotra, Charanjit Chargotra, Puran Chargotra, Baisakhi Ram, KC Raina, Dr Karuna Bajaj, Ashok Goutam and Om Prakash.
