JAMMU, Apr 6: Government College of Education, Jammu organized Alumni Meet, 2016 in the College Campus, here today.
The event was presided over by the Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr) Kaushal Smotra.
Galaxy of Alumni of the college since early 70’s were present on the occasion and cherished their memories during their studentship in the College.
Principal in her welcome address presented the current events of B.Ed and M.Ed Course. She also talked about the various workshops, seminars and competitions organized in the College in the session 2015-2017.
The Principal, who is also an alumnus of the College, shared the golden moments and the most enriching academics which makes the College a pillar of excellence.
Prominent alumni who were present were Dr KK Sahni, Prof BR Sharma and Ajeet Singh Nagra.
Colourful bonanza of cultural programme was presented by the students of the College.
The vote of thanks was presented by Prof CL Shivgotra and the programme was anchored by Kokila Kohli, student of the College.
The function concluded with the round by the alumni’s to witness the latest infrastructural developments of the College.
