JAMMU, Feb 10: Tiger Army Pre Primary School (TAPPS) Damana celebrated its Annual Day in its school premises, here today.
The day was presided over by the chief guest, Poonam Bisht.
The function started at 10:30 am with the lighting of lamp by chief guest followed by Ganesh Vandana.
The school annual report was then presented by the Principal, Prabh Inder Kaur. The cultural programme began with a Rock and Roll dance performance by the tiny tots. Every class gave their performances with grace and got a big round of applause which included Rhyme time, Surya Namaskar, Umbrella dance, cultural folk dances form Himachal, Haryana, Punjab performances on patriotic songs, Bollywood mania, Happy boys and girls and last but not the least Play on Cinderella by little artists.
The Annual day function was also attended by the parents of the tiny tots making it a total gathering of about 750 people.
Prizes were distributed among the students by the chief guest and guest of honour.
The chief guest in her closing address appreciated the efforts put in by the staff and the students in making programme a grand success.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks and National Anthem.
