JAMMU, Dec 8: DPS Jammu organized English Recitation Competition for class Prep to enhance the creativity and talent of little buds.
All the participants came enthusiastically and recited the poem confidently. They tried to touch many sensitive issues like Girl Child, Child Labour and Life of a soldier.
The competition was adjudged by Shabana Rahil.
The 1st prize was won by Shufyan Chauhan and Syed Ali Rizvi, 2nd prize was claimed by Skyla Rajwal and Pawani Gupta and the 3rd prize was shared by Mitul Jain and Saransh Chauhan.
While congratulating the students and teachers, Meenu Gupta, Headmistress DPS Jammu stated that such recitation activities have a significant impact in helping our young learners gain confidence in public speaking and in developing literary skills.
Principal, Ruchi Chabra felicitated the winners, while Preeti Abrol, Coordinator, Pre-Primary Wing was also present on the occasion.
