JAMMU, Nov 28: In a special assembly held recently at Jodhamal Public School, the National level participants and winners of Jodhamal School, in the field of various sports, were honoured.
The students who represented J&K Team in Basketball School Nationals at Bhavnagar, Gujarat were Danish Koul, Antriksha Pathania, Ishita Dhar and Ishwarjit Singh Bali.
The students selected to represent J&K in Swimming School Nationals at Kolkatta were Dhairya Choudhary, Arav Trehan and Samrat Sharma.
The medal winners in Wushu National Championship at Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh) were Aayesha Hayaat, Akash Patwari and Akshita Chopra. Also, Angad Singh Sodhi, who represented the J&K Chess Nationals and Mian Mohd Raza, who won the Gold in Golf Tournament at Kashmir were felicitated at this auspicious occasion.
The Principal of the school, Trilok Singh Bist said that the Jodhamal School has always been promoting the sports among the young students as a result our students have always been in the forefront in all the sports events.
Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee Jodhamal School and Trilok Singh Bist, Principal congratulated the proud winners for their impressive achievement at National Level and applauded the efforts put in by all the sports teachers of Jodhamal School, Sukomal Ganguly, Vishal Samrat, Balwinder Kumar, Aman Anand, Pooja Bassan, Aashi Jamwal and Seema Mehra in preparing the team and bringing home a bouquet of medals and trophies.
