27-member State Judo team leaves for Vijaywada

JAMMU, Aug 31: After selection trials and screening by J&K Sports Council, a 27-member State team today left for participation in the Sub Junior National Judo Championship to be held at Vijaywada from September 3 to September 7. The team comprises of 11 boys, 11 girls and 3 officials. The team: Boys; Yawar Abbas, Waseem Rasool, Bharat Hansi, Munish Sharma, Sonu Kumar, Varun Sharma, Irfan Khan, Perteak Bali, Alankrit Patyal, Shivam Sharma and Udhav Gupta Girls: Nirali Sharma,Nitika Sharma, Vaishali Sharma, Neha Devi, Vidushi Dogra, Sarita Sharma, Mehroonisa, Tanisha, Prachi Bhagat, Kajal Sharma and Roji Devi. Coaches: Shweta Thakur and Danish Sharma.
