KATHUA, June 23: Wrestler Bhupinder from Haryana crushed Satnam from Mashwadha and lifted wrestling contest title. The contest was organized by Modern Dangal Committee, Gurah Kalyal, tehsil Billawar, district Kathua.
The second bout played between Kulbir from Jammu and Lakhvinder from Punjab ended in draw.
In third bout, Narinder from Ajnala registered win over Gurvinder from Punjab.
The outstanding players during the contest were Shiva from Dina Nagar, Sunny from Himachal Pradesh, Amit from Delhi and Vicky from Sialma, Billawar.
The members of the organizing committee were Randhir Singh Kotwal, Dr Tara Chand Verma, Babu Ram Verma, Krishan Chand Padha, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, Mohammad Rafiq, Hardev Singh, Shiv Dass, Mohan Lal Choudhary, Shiv Ram Verma, Ali Mohammad Sheikh, Vipan Kumar Sharma and Puran Singh Rajwal.
