JAMMU, May 31: Miran Sahib team emerged overall winner in the 4th Virsa Sambhal Gatka Competition organized by Jaanbaaz Khalsa Gatka Academy here.
The main vision to organize this competition was to aware the youth especially girls about Sikh Marshal Arts known as Gatka so as to defend themselves. To keep away the youth from the intake of drugs was also the main purpose of the competition.
In this competition 6 teams participated from Miran Sahib, Phinder, Laswara, Simbal, Dablehar and Chatha.
The overall winner of the competition was Miran Sahib team, whileas first runner-up was Phinder team and second runner-up was Dablehar team.
Special prizes were presented to the students who got best in their academic education.
These prizes were distributed by Jathedar Manmohan Singh.
