JAMMU, Jan 9: Ishar Cricket Club (ICC) crushed Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) in the summit clash by 24 runs and lifted the title trophy of 3rd Budding Cricket Tourney, being organized by Jammu Tawi Cricket Club at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, ICC scored 124 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Muneeb Malik was the top scorer with 49 runs in, whereas Aditya and Raghav contributed 18 and 17 runs respectively.
For MGCA side, Ankush Gill and Santanad shared 2 wickets each, whereas Sahil and Satyabharat took 1 wicket each.
In reply, MGCA failed to chase the target and was bundled out at 100 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Abhishek was the top scorer with 26 runs, whereas Sahil Lotra and Ajay contributed 25 and 14 runs respectively.
For ICC side, Prince and Abhishant secured 2 wickets each, whereas Muneeb Malik and Ramandeep claimed 1 wicket each.
Muneeb Malik of ICC was declared as man of the match for his all-round performance.
The match was officiated by Pinku and Surinder as umpires, whileas the scoreboard was maintained by Sachin.
