JKCA announces selectors panel for 2026–27 season

JAMMU, May 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has announced its Selectors Panel for the 2026–27 season, retaining former first-class cricketer Sarabjeet Singh as Chairman of the Senior Men’s Selection Committee.
Sarabjeet, a former wicketkeeper-batsman with 91 first-class matches, will continue to lead the senior selection setup, bringing continuity and experience to the role. The Senior Men’s Committee also includes Sameer Khajuria, a former off-spinner with 93 wickets in 34 matches and Mohammad Mudhasir, a fast bowler with 117 wickets in 40 first-class games. Bandeep Singh has been appointed Chairman of the Junior Men’s Selection Committee, along with Aditya Pratap Singh and Obaid Haroon.
In women’s cricket, Anuradha Sharma will head the senior panel, while Payal Chaudhary will lead the junior committee. JKCA said the panel aims to strengthen talent scouting and development across the region.
