JAMMU, May 12: CMH Rising Stars registered a convincing 50-run victory over CMH Knight Riders in a thrilling friendly cricket match played at the Cricket Ground, University of Jammu.
Batting first in the 15-over contest, CMH Rising Stars produced an impressive batting display to post a massive total of 202/4. The team dominated the opposition bowlers with aggressive stroke play and smart running between the wickets, setting a challenging target for the Knight Riders.
In reply, CMH Knight Riders fought hard and showed glimpses of brilliance but were restricted to 152/9 in their allotted overs by the disciplined bowling attack of the Rising Stars.
Mohd. Rafiq emerged as the star performer of the match and was declared man of the match for his outstanding all-round contribution and match-winning efforts. The match was played in a spirited atmosphere with enthusiastic participation and cheering from students.
