PATHANKOT, May 7: Partap World School, Pathankot, organised an impressive programme to appoint the student council for the 2026-27 academic session, reflecting the institution’s commitment towards leadership, discipline and teamwork. MLA Basohli Darshan Kumar was chief guest, while Dr Sunita Sharma, HoD Health & Family Welfare, Pathankot and Dr ML Attri attended as special guests.
The programme featured badge conferring and oath-taking ceremonies after a rigorous selection process based on leadership, discipline, communication skills and academic performance. Senior council appointments included Head Boy Vivek Attri, Head Girl Ramaira, Deputy Head Boy Raghav Singh Salaria, Deputy Head Girl Shagun, School Captains Adil Malik and Vanya Malhotra. Gandhi House was led by Sanyam Bhardwaj, Sharanya, Harnoor and Aham Singh; Nehru House by Farah, Priyanshi, Ansh Khajuria and Janvi; Patel House by Aryan Mishra, Mahi, Gurbeer and Mohd Ayaan; and Subash House by Abhilasha, Gargi, Krishant and Danish.
Middle council appointments included Wafiq, Mannat Sandhu, Arunav Sharma, Jaisal Kaushal, Saharsh, Aarvees, Mannat, Sehnaz Choudhary, Ayan Mandal, Harman Sharma, Sanvi Sharma, Ananya, Dilkush, Umar, Palak Thakur, Manreet, Ashutosh and Ayan. Junior council leaders included Kapish, Skairah, Madhav, Aura, Pritish Agarwal and Amayra, besides house leaders S Mishika, Tashvi, Sukhsaar, Ghazal, Geetika, Ryna Rathore, Aadira, Antariksh, Saqib, Myra, Abhinav, Gourish, Laksh, Manseerat, Vahin and Manya.
Director Sunny Mahajan and Principal Subhra Rani congratulated the students, while Darshan Kumar and Dr Sunita Sharma appreciated the school for nurturing future leaders.
