JAMMU, May 2: Shaurya International School organized a function today in its premises.
Dr Arun Manhas, Director Industries & Commerce Department J&K, grace the event as chief guest. The event was further graced by Harinder Mahajan, Chairman, Shaurya Educational Society, Vice-Chairman Sahil Mahajan, Trustees Pooja Mahajan and Miho Mahajan.
The function began with an invocation through Ganesh Vandana and a welcome song. In her address, Principal Dr Swati Kapoor provided an overview of the democratic principles and transparent election procedures that define the school’s leadership appointments.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of badges and sashes to the office bearers. The Student Council, led by the School Captain and Vice-School Captain, took a solemn oath to discharge their duties with honesty, integrity, and dedication.
In his address, Dr Arun Manhas emphasized that true leadership involves accepting responsibilities and motivating others. Echoing similar sentiments, Harinder Mahajan and Sahil Mahajan also shared words of encouragement, urging the students to lead by example and uphold the values of the institution.
