MENDHAR, Sept 26: An Inter-tehsil T-20 Cricket Tournament was organised by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo), with the active co-operation of the locals of Mendhar Tehsil.
The tournament showcased the cricketing skills of teams of tehsil Mendhar, Haveli, Surankote and Mandi of Poonch district with players displaying such high standards of the game which honed the skills of local cricket teams.
The final match was played between the teams of Mendhar and Surankote with Surankote coming out victorious, defeating Mendhar by five wickets.
The event was witnessed by school children and eminent persons of the area.
