JAMMU, Mar 21: The Jammu & Kashmir Fencing Association, in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, is set to organize the ASMITA Women’s Fencing City/District League on March 24 at the Indoor Fencing Hall, MA Stadium, Jammu. The event, exclusively for female fencers, will be held alongside the UT of J&K Fencing Championship 2025-26 from March 24 to 26.
The ASMITA League, part of the Khelo India initiative by the Sports Authority of India and the Fencing Association of India, aims to empower women athletes and promote grassroot development in fencing.
Meanwhile, the UT Championship (Boys & Girls) is expected to witness participation from over 400 fencers representing various districts across the Union Territory.
