SRINAGAR, Mar 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association, through its affiliated units District Baramulla Carrom Association and District Ganderbal Carrom Association announced the District Carrom Championships 2025-26 for Baramulla and Ganderbal districts. The Baramulla championship will be held on March 24 and 25 at the Indoor Sports Stadium, Khawaja Bagh, Baramulla, while the Ganderbal championship is scheduled for March 26 and 27 at the Indoor Sports Stadium, Seh Pora, Ganderbal.
The competitions will be held in four categories-Under-12 (Cadet), Under-14 (Sub-Junior), Under-18 (Junior) and Senior-for both boys and girls, men and women. Sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, the championships aim to promote grassroots participation and encourage young talent in the sport.
Players from schools, colleges, clubs and institutions have been invited to participate. Entries can be submitted via email at jkcarrom.reg@gmail.com or through WhatsApp.
