JAMMU, Feb 7: The two-day 13th J&K UT Rope Skipping Championship 2025-26 held at JP World School, Jammu, featuring enthusiastic participation and high-level performances by around 200 athletes from six districts of Jammu & Kashmir.
Organised by the Rope Skipping Association of J&K (RSAJK), affiliated with the J&K Olympic Association and Rope Skipping Federation of India, the event was conducted under the technical supervision of Danish Sharma, Technical Chairman, RSAJK, along with a dedicated technical team including Rudrakshit Gupta, Rishika Sharma, Anandika, Aapurti Saini, Shivang Kumar, Paras Arora, Chirag Puri, Nitin Kumar, Neha Koul, Udhay Singh, Angel Gupta, Lavanya, Nazish and Aditya Sharma.
The valedictory function was graced by Anissa Nabi, Chief Sports Officer (JKSC) and Manjeet Singh, Chairman, Kalarippayattu Association of J&K, along with other dignitaries. The championship highlighted the growing popularity of rope skipping and RSAJK’s commitment to nurturing young sporting talent in the region.
