JAMMU, Jan 6: Gymnastics Federation of India (GFI) has directed the Gymnastics Association of Jammu and Kashmir to depute two gymnasts who have successfully qualified the Rhythmic Gymnastics Judges Course to officiate at the National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship scheduled to be held at Pune, Maharashtra, from February 2 to February 5.
According to the directive, the selected qualified judges will officiate during the national-level championship, while their travelling allowance and daily allowance (TA/DA) will be borne by the host state, Maharashtra.
Kiran Wattal, President of the Gymnastics Association of J&K and vice president of the Gymnastics Federation of India, has advised all eligible and qualified rhythmic gymnastics judges from J&K who are interested in officiating at the prestigious event to submit their willingness at the earliest.
Interested judges have been asked to convey their consent to Tejinder Singh, associate secretary of the Gymnastics Association of J&K, on or before February 9.
