JAMMU, Dec 31: The Jammu and Kashmir Rugby Association will conduct selection trials for boys and girls in the Sub-Junior category for the Sub Junior National Rugby Sevens Championship 2025–26 at Green Field, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, on January 12, 2026. The trials will begin at 11 am onwards and simultaneous screening of teams will also be held on the same day.
The Sub Junior National Rugby Sevens Championship is scheduled to take place at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from January 16 to 21, 2026. Players who participated in the 17th J&K UT Rugby Championship 2025–26, held in Srinagar from September 7 to 9, 2025, will be seeded directly into the final rounds, while new aspirants will also be given an opportunity to showcase their talent.
As per handout issued participants from outside districts will have to arrange their own transportation, boarding and lodging. Entry forms will be available at the venue.
