JAMMU, Dec 24: The 29th Inter-District JKUT Billiards and Snooker Championship saw exciting action in Round 3 at MA Stadium Billiards Hall, organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA) in association with the J&K Sports Council. The tournament is moving towards the pre-quarterfinal stage, featuring high-quality competition among district-level players.
Aseem Ghai set the tone with a 2–1 victory over Erham Parvez (20–62, 63–29, 71–55). Shubham Dubey defeated Harpreet Singh by 2–0 (66–43, 49–46), Aman Sharma beat Asif Ali by 2–0 (55–25, 57–23) and Ishan Singh narrowly edged past Sahil by 2–1 (59–75, 38–24, 48–31).
Other results included Nasir Hussain’s 2–0 win over Darpandeep Singh (58–46, 57–30), Kamran Majid’s 2–0 victory against Mahan Sani (79–07, 55–08), Saksham Gupta’s 2–1 win (37–49, 52–28, 71–32), Vishal Abrol’s 2–0 triumph over Jatinder Vaid (61–25, 52–44), and Younis Kushya’s 2–0 victory against Abhishek Gandotra (66–25, 50–37). The championship continues to deliver thrilling contests as players vie for spots in the pre-quarterfinals.
