JAMMU, Dec 21: SVM School, Jammu, a reputed educational institution dedicated to quality education and holistic development, celebrated its Annual Day function with great enthusiasm and cultural splendour.
The event was graced by Raveesh Mengi, District General Secretary, BJP Jammu North, as the chief guest, while Arti Kapoor, noted social activist attended as guest of honour.
The programme was further dignified by the presence of Ajay Sharma, Chairman, SVM School; Manu Samriti, Principal; Sandeep Katoch, Vice Principal; Asha Rani, Ex-Principal; Chander Manhas; Sahil Gupta, Mandal President Janipur; Sanjay Bhat; Sameer Pathania; Kamal Sharma, and Aman Sharma.
Raveesh Mengi congratulated the school management, staff and students for organizing a vibrant programme. He highlighted the importance of parental involvement in the mental, physical and emotional development of children and stressed the need for collective efforts to build a drug-free society, stating that a healthy society is the foundation of a strong nation.
The celebrations featured colourful cultural performances, including dances, skits and creative presentations by students, conveying strong social messages, unity, discipline and patriotism.
Meritorious students were felicitated with medals for academic excellence, motivating them to achieve greater success. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Principal Sandeep Katoch, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, parents, staff and students for making the event a grand success.
