JAMMU, Dec 20: Srijan International School, Jammu celebrated its Annual Sports Day with the inspiring theme “Nirmaan”, highlighting the role of sports in building character, confidence and discipline from an early age. Students from Nursery to Grade III participated enthusiastically, filling the campus with energy and excitement.
The event was graced by Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh, Yasha Mudgal, Commissioner/Secretary, Youth Services & Sports Department, Roopali Salathia, BCCI Level-2 Coach and Chandeep Singh, Asian Taekwondo Champion. Their presence inspired young learners and reinforced the importance of sports in holistic development.
The celebrations began with a welcome address, followed by lamp lighting and torch lighting ceremonies. Cultural presentations, including a Welcome Song and Dance performances, added vibrancy. Students participated in a variety of games, showcasing teamwork and coordination, while special attractions like Martial Arts, Skating and Gatka captivated the audience.
Prize distribution honoured winners of games and academic achievers from Grades I to X. The event concluded with a culmination dance and the national anthem.
