SOB J&K UT State Games 2025 concludes

JAMMU, Dec 3: The Special Olympics Bharat (SOB) J&K UT State Games 2025 concluded at Youth Hostel & Khel Gaon, Nagrota, Jammu, aimed at exploring the hidden talents of persons with intellectual disabilities through sports. The three-day event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Malika Nadda, National Chairperson and Dr. DG Choudhary, National General Secretary.
The games were inaugurated by Angel Kotwal, Deputy Director YSS and presided over by SDPO J&K Police Vinod Kundal. The closing ceremony was graced by Aman Sharma, Performance Director Sports Authority of India and presided over by Dr. Ashwini Jojra and Founding President and area Director SOB-JKUT.
Events included Athletics, Bocce Ball and Unified Football, with participation from 106 Special Athletes, 54 Unified Partners, 40 Volunteers and 50 Special Educators, totaling 354 participants. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals were awarded and all athletes received participation certificates. Special Schools from across Jammu participated.
