Bike rally organised in Jammu to honour martyrs

JAMMU, Nov 24: A bike rally was organised in Jammu to pay tribute to the Nowgam Srinagar police martyrs and the Delhi blast victims.
The event was flagged off from MA Stadium by the DIG of Police, Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma, along with the Secretary of the J&K Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul.
The rally was organised by the Chairperson of the One Ride One Nation team, Nitish Pal, and sponsored by the Chairperson of the F-Salon by fashiontv, Channi Himmat, Tanish Mehta.
Participants rode from MA Stadium to RC Peak in Ramnagar before returning to Jammu.
Youth from various parts of the region joined the rally and paid heartfelt tributes to the martyrs, remembering their sacrifice for the nation.
The organisers said the event aimed to spread awareness about the courage and commitment of the bravehearts.
The DIG appreciated the efforts of One Ride One Nation and the sponsoring team for organising the rally.
He said such initiatives encourage young people to recognise the sacrifices made by security personnel and help keep the memories of the martyrs alive.
