JAMMU, Nov 17: Saiyam Nischal and Syrah Dewan emerged victorious at the ongoing table tennis tournament, delivering thrilling performances across age categories.
In the Under-15 boys category, Saiyam Nischal defeated Aahaan Anand in a tight final, clinching the deciding game by 11-9. In the semifinals, Saiyam beat Advik Garg 3-2, while Aahaan overcame Samar Dev by 3-2 to reach the final.
In the Under-13 girls category, Syrah Dewan dominated the final, defeating Alena Arora by 3-0 to lift her second title of the tournament. In the Under-17 boys, Samarth Nischal beat Pranit by 3-1 in the semifinals, while Saiyam Nischal outplayed Aahaan by 3-1 to reach the final.
In the Men’s category, unseeded Samarth Nischal caused an upset by defeating third seed Amit Badyal by 3-2 in the quarterfinals. Maanay Mansotra showcased consistent dominance, defeating Madhav by 3-0 and Akhilesh Khajuria 3-1 to reach the semifinals.
