JAMMU, Nov 11: A wave of excitement swept through the streets of Jammu as the Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2025 Trophy Tour today reached the here at K.K. Hakku Stadium, drawing hundreds of young players, coaches and fans.
Organized jointly by Hockey India and the J&K Sports Council, the event celebrated India’s rich hockey legacy.
The ceremony was graced by Yasha Mudgal, Commissioner Secretary, Youth Services and Sports J&K, and Nuzhat Gul, Secretary, J&K Sports Council. Mudgal said the Trophy Tour reflects India’s spirit of teamwork and the Government’s commitment to nurturing young talent.
Dr. P. Senthil Raj Kumar, General Secretary, Hockey Tamil Nadu, praised the hospitality and lauded the progress of J&K Hockey under President Gurdeep Singh Sangral and Dr. Taran Singh, noting that “Hockey in J&K is reaching new heights.”
The Trophy Tour, covering 20 states, continues to unite the nation in celebration of hockey’s enduring spirit.
