KATHUA, Nov 10: The District Kathua Bench Press Championship 2025-26 concluded today, organized by Kathua Power Lifting Association under the chairmanship of Ravinder Kumar Sharma, former President of Municipal Committee Lakhanpur.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, MLA Kathua, presented medals and mementoes to over 80 players excelling in Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior categories. Veteran athletes who recently won national and international accolades were also honoured. The event was coordinated by Ajay Sharma, General Secretary, All J&K UT Powerlifting Association, Shabeel Ahmed, General Secretary, Powerlifting Association Kathua and Rahul Sawhney, Senior Vice President, All J&K UT Powerlifting Association, highlighting the promotion of sportsmanship among youth.
