RAJOURI, Oct 29: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Rajouri, under the chairmanship of Rajinder Sapru, Principal District & Sessions Judge Rajouri, organized an extensive Awareness Program on Drug Abuse along with a series of sports events to promote healthy living and community engagement.
Held in collaboration with Ek Sahara Foundation and supported by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the event is part of DLSA Rajouri’s ongoing campaign to combat drug addiction and promote a drug-free society across the district.
Shama Sharma, Secretary DLSA Rajouri, emphasized the urgent need to address rising drug abuse and urged youth to participate in sports and constructive activities. Competitions in Volleyball, Tug of War, Badminton, Skipping Rope and Shot Put encouraged youth toward fitness and teamwork.
The program also spread awareness about free legal services and citizens’ rights, reaffirming DLSA Rajouri’s commitment to justice, awareness and social reform.
