KATHUA, Oct 22: Spring Dales English School, Kathua, organized a vibrant programme for the academic session 2025-26, marked by enthusiasm and pride. The event was graced by chief guest Dr. Surinder Kumar Atri, Principal of Government Medical College, Kathua, and guest of honour Lieutenant Commander Kanav Mahajan of the Indian Navy, a distinguished alumnus from the Batch of 2014.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a soulful Saraswati Vandana performed by Ananya, Ayushi, and Nandini of Class 6. The highlight was the formal announcement and presentation of the new Student Council, led by Head Boy Vishav and Head Girl Naina, alongside key student leaders including Vice Head Boy Sankarshan, Vice Head Girl Vani, Sports Captain Aarush and others.
House leaders for Shaurya, Maurya, Surya, and Kavya houses were also introduced. Dr. Atri inspired students to uphold discipline and excellence, while Lt. Cdr. Mahajan shared his journey from school to the Indian Navy, encouraging students to pursue their dreams.
The event also featured cultural performances and a Student Café managed by Saundarya Rajput and her team. The programme concluded with a pledge to foster leadership and creativity, reflecting the school’s motto, “Eminence through Excellence.”
