JAMMU, July 28: Army Public School Damana organized a vibrant three-day Scholastic Book Fair , aimed at fostering a love for reading among students and parents. Held in collaboration with Scholastic India, the fair featured a wide selection of books catering to various age groups and reading interests.
The fair was inaugurated by Principal Pushpinder Kaur, who lit the ceremonial lamp in the presence of Headmistress Anurita Kaul and Librarian Nirmal Shawney. In her address, the Principal emphasized reading as vital to intellectual and emotional development.
The first day saw enthusiastic participation from students of Balvatika I to Class II, while Classes III to V explored engaging genres on Day 2, including mystery and historical fiction. On the final day, Classes VI to XII and their parents browsed young adult fiction, biographies, science books, and competitive exam guides.
