JAMMU, July 26: Rich Harvest School (RHS) organized a function in the school premises today.
Anita Bhatia, Head of Institute, on behalf of Managing Director Gambhir Dev Singh Charak and Director Ruchi Charak while extending a warm welcome to the chief guest Col Hemant Kandpal, Presiding Officer Ranbir Katal, Vice-Chairperson Uma Katal and Dr Bela Thakur-Principal Dogra Degree College, emphasized the importance of leadership and responsibility.
The function commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by a solemn tribute to the martyrs of the Kargil War. The celestial dance paved the way for the eagerly awaited Pipping ceremony of Head Boy Aradhya, Head Girl Jiya and various office bearers.
Thereafter the student council members were administered the School Oath, promising to uphold the School’s values and work towards the betterment of the student community, marking their leadership journey.
Chief Guest, Colonel Hemant urged the student leaders to become ideal role models for their juniors while the MD emphasized the importance of leadership development and responsibility among students.
The event culminated with vote of thanks delivered by Aashima-the senior wing coordinator.
