JAMMU, July 26: The students of Grade 5 at G D Goenka Public School, Jammu, showcased remarkable creativity and environmental awareness during the ‘SDGs Action for Earth’ exhibition held on School campus today.
The event was inaugurated by Principal Arindam Roy Choudhury, Dean Academics Susmita Roy Choudhury, Primary Wing Coordinator Nishita Sharma, and coordinators of Middle and Secondary Wings, Deepali Koul and Varsha Billawaria.
Focusing on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the exhibition highlighted key themes including zero hunger, no poverty, reduced inequalities, clean water, sanitation, climate action and life below water. Students displayed handmade models, posters, charts and interactive exhibits to demonstrate how simple everyday actions can contribute to a sustainable future.
The young Goenkans impressed attendees with their insightful presentations, reflecting a deep understanding of global environmental challenges. The event underscored how even young minds can contribute significantly to the planet’s well-being.
