JAMMU, July 18: Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants) Dr Arvind Karwani emphasized the importance of providing exposure and holistic development opportunities to students of Camp Schools in Jammu. He made these remarks during his inspection visit to Government Higher Secondary School (Camp), Bohri.
Dr Karwani praised the teaching staff, describing them as a “morning breeze” enabling students to bloom despite infrastructural challenges. “Teachers in Camp Schools are doing commendable work under constrained conditions,” he noted.
He approved an exposure tour for students and staff, stating that such initiatives instill confidence, discipline and character, playing a vital role in shaping young minds. Addressing the lack of sporting platforms for Camp School students, Dr Karwani proposed the organisation of mega sports events under the aegis of the Relief Organisation.
