SRINAGAR, June 19: The J&K Taekwondo Association (JKTA), under the aegis of the J&K Sports Council (JKSC) and the “My Youth My Pride” initiative, announced the J&K Taekwondo Association Cup 2025, to be held on June 24-25 at the Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar.
This prestigious championship is dedicated to the memory of Late D.N Pangotra, former President of JKTA, whose legacy continues to inspire the martial arts community in Jammu and Kashmir. The competition is open to Pee-Wee, Sub-Junior, Cadet, Junior and Senior categories from across the UT. In a major push for inclusivity, no entry fee will be charged.
All participants must possess a valid JKTA Athlete License; entries without it will not be accepted. Accreditation, form submission and weigh-in will take place on June 23, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the venue. Required documents include the registration form signed by parents, Aadhaar Card, and JKTA license.
