J&K shines in 3rd Senior Men’s National Goal Shot Ball C’ship

JAMMU, June 3: The 3rd Senior Men’s National Goal Shot Ball Championship was held in New Delhi, organized by the Goal Shot Ball Association of Delhi under the banner of the Goal Shot Ball Federation of India. A total of 29 teams from across the country participated in the championship.
For the first time, the Jammu & Kashmir team participated and made an impressive debut by securing third position. Sahil Padha was the tournament’s top scorer who played outstandingly throughout, while Manjeet Singh, the team’s goalkeeper, acted as a formidable wall, blocking multiple goal attempts and earning praise for his defense.
A felicitation ceremony was held to honour the medal-winning team, presided over by Rajeshwar Singh. During the event, several dignitaries extended their congratulations, including Ashutosh Sharma (General Secretary), Rahul Sharma (Vice President), Sonia Jain (Organising Secretary), Rajesh Langer (Ex-member), Sunil Gupta (Ex-member) and O.P. Kesar.
