JAMMU, May 30: The All Jammu Prize Money Open Badminton Tournament 2025, organized by Supersonic Badminton Club, Jammu, began today at the newly inaugurated Champions Arena with over 130 participants from across Jammu and surrounding areas. The tournament, which runs from May 30 to June 2, features intense matches in Under-13, Under-15 and Under-19 categories for both boys and girls.
The tournament was inaugurated by K Nirmal Kotwal, Senior Advocate and President, BAR Association, Jammu, who appreciated the world-class facilities and praised Gurvinder Singh, Secretary of the club, for his dedicated efforts in promoting the sport. Dignitaries present included Satpal Sharma (SAI Badminton Coach), Romesh Sharma (Chief Referee) and Sahil Bakshi (MD, Champions Arena).
On Day 1, the players advanced to the next round include: Gihaan, Bhawani, Ayansh, Sarthak, Ryan Gupta, Divine Sambyal, Adharya Veer, Jaskeerat, Shaurya, Malhar Sharma, Sanvi Singh, Shivika Malhotra, Ruhini Gupta, Aliza Mughal, Akshni Manhas, Ananya Batta, Keerat Choudhary, Geet Kour, Arya Mahajan, Athrav Baria, Kartik, Pranav, Rishit, Vivan Chib, Parineeti, Advika, Hunar Preet, Isha Bali, Paavni Gupta, Arnav Sharma, Kartik Gupta, Pratham Sambyal, Zahid Mumtaj, Suhani Sharma, Sukhpreet Choudhary, Iqra Barkat and Diamond Rajput.
