SRINAGAR, May 12: Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) edged past Downtown Heroes with a narrow 1-0 victory in a closely contested match of the Srinagar Premier Division Football League, held at the TRC Ground, here today.
Organized by the District Football Association Srinagar under the “My Youth My Pride” initiative, the league features top-tier clubs from across the district. The match showcased competitive football, with both teams displaying determination and tactical discipline. It was RKFC’s reserve team that eventually secured the win through a decisive goal, reflecting their growing form and cohesion.

Owned by Arshid Shawl, the club has been making significant strides in Indian football. RKFC’s reserve side has continued to impress, building on the momentum of the senior team, which recently finished third in the national I-League.
