REASI, Mar 16: The two-day long Asmita Judo City League 2024-25 concluded at Amba Kids Home School, Panthel Katra Gurha, here today. The Championship, organized by the Judo Association of Jammu & Kashmir under the aegis of SAI and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, saw overwhelming participation from nearly 100 female judokas across various categories.
Ashwani Katoch, chairman of the school, was the chief guest for the event who presented medals and certificates to the winners and participants. Suraj Sharma, General Secretary of the Judo Association of Jammu & Kashmir, graced the occasion as the guest of honour, while Priyanka Gupta was invited as the special guest.
The bouts were officiated by Manish Chatwal, Judo Instructor and Sunakshi Devi, who ensured fair play throughout the competition. The event witnessed fierce competition, with athletes showcasing their skills in different weight categories.
