JAMMU, Mar 15: Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu celebrated the outstanding achievement of Mhotsav Gandotra, a talented Class VIII student, who secured a prestigious group rank of 11 in the American Mathematics Contest (AMC 8). Recognized for his exceptional mathematical skills, Mhotsav earned a spot in the Honour Roll, placing him among the top achievers globally in this esteemed international competition.
The AMC 8, conducted by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), is a premier global contest that challenges young minds with complex problem-solving tasks. Competing against over 4,000 students from India and thousands worldwide, Mhotsav’s achievement placed him in the top 5% of participants, reflecting his intellectual brilliance and dedication.
In addition to Mhotsav’s remarkable feat, six other talented Class VIII students from DPS Jammu showcased their mathematical acumen: Chirag Luthra (Group Rank 81, School Rank 2), Yasha Shree (Group Rank 105, School Rank 3), Shivdev Singh (Group Rank 105, School Rank 3), Pratyaksh Romesh Jandial (Group Rank 131), and Shambhavi Magotra (Group Rank 147). Their success reflects the school’s focus on nurturing future leaders in STEM fields.x
