Ridima of Cluster University wins 1st prize at Nat Youth Fest

JAMMU, Mar 11: Cluster University Jammu student, Ridima Bajpai clinched 1st prize in 38th National Youth Festival organized by AIU and hosted by Amity University, Noida.
Ridima, representing Cluster University of Jammu, clinched 1st prize in Indian Classical Vocal Solo event. A total of 147 Universities from across India participated in the Fest.
Ridima, a student of GCW Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, a constituent college of Cluster University of Jammu and a disciple of V.K Sambyal (Rangeeley Thakur), was accompanied by Rahul Bhardwaj on Tabla and Vishal Pandita on Harmonium.
The contingent was accompanied by Asha Rani and Vishal Pandita as Teachers In-charge.
Vice Chancellor of Cluster University of Jammu, Prof. K.S Chandrasekar complimented Ridima for her achievement and appreciated the efforts of Department of Students Welfare headed by Dr. Raj Shreei Dhar for promoting young talent in the cultural and other literary activities.
A handout claimed that Ridima is first student from J&K to secure 1st position in Classical Vocal Solo Category.
