JAMMU, Mar 9: Jodhamal Public School celebrated the Graduation Day for its Class UKG students, marking the significance of schooling in the lives of toddlers. The event, held at the school, was graced by chief guest Javed Ahmed Rana, Cabinet Minister of Jal Shakti, Forest & Tribal Affairs, Government of Jammu & Kashmir and special guest G. Prasanna Ramaswamy, Secretary to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Principal Girish Kumar welcomed guests and parents, congratulating them on their children’s progress. Neetu Johri, Headmistress, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the students’ achievements, including accolades from national and international competitions.
Over 100 prizes were awarded to students for excellence in various co-curricular activities, with special recognition for those who set records in prestigious National and International Record Books. The awardees included Zorica Malhotra, Saahir Gandral, Kavish Gupta and others.
The event also featured a cultural bonanza, including Krishna Leela, dance performances, a dance on skates, and an English play promoting the dignity of labour. Rana motivated the students, emphasizing the role of both school and parents in providing holistic education. The ceremony concluded with heartfelt appreciation for the efforts of the staff and students.
