AWANTIPORA, Feb 21: Vice Chancellor of Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo here today lauded the athletes for their hard work and highlighted University’s commitment to world-class sports facilities and support.
During a felicitation ceremony to celebrate excellent performance by the students at All-India Inter-University Winter Sports 2025, the VC also announced cash rewards for the players.
The ceremony was attended by Registrar, Prof. Abdul Wahid; Deans of various schools; the Controller of Examination; Assistant Directors of Sports and other staff.
Dr. Hilal Ahmad Rather, Assistant Director of Physical Education & Sports, opened the event with an overview of the competition and applauded the dedication of students and coaches.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and mementos to the winners.
